CHANGE AHEAD:
COMPREHENSIVE SAFETY ANALYSIS (CSA) 2010
IS COMING VERY SOON! (April-July)
Will you be ready?
CSA 2010 changes the way FMCSA assesses and addresses commercial motor vehicle safety!
Under CSA 2010, FMCSA evaluates carrier safety using all on-road performance data from roadside inspections and crash reports. All safety-based violations now count, not only out-of-service or moving violations; inspections without safety violations count too!
CSA 2010 addresses safety issues by contacting more carriers earlier than before, so carriers can correct safety problems before crashes occur. Prepare today by staying informed!
It is highly recommended that your company representative attends one of our 2-Day DOT Compliance Workshops, to obtain more detailed information on the requirements the DOT/FMCSA has on your company, and to get up-to-date information on how the new CSA 2010 Program may affect the success of your operation.
There are some good things coming with the CSA 2010. However, there are also some things that may cause a very negative effect on your operation unless your company is aware of these changes and is prepared for them.
This new program will be based on Driver Behavior. This means that drivers may be fined like never before, in addition to the company scoring points on the new system. The DOT anticipates that 170,000 drivers will lose their jobs due to becoming "Disqualified", if they continue to operate as they currently do. We need to ensure that every driver is at 100% compliance with the rules, and not shrug them off.
Ways you can survive these changes:
1. Come to our seminar to learn everything that is expected of your company as a motor carrier (vehicle rated at 10,001 pounds and greater)
2. Learn how the new CSA 2010 program can affect your company
3. Train your drivers in the Hour-of-Service rules and how to properly complete their log books
4. Train your drivers in the importance of conducting their Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections and how to properly document them
Ways We Can Help You:
1. Offer you the seminar instructors who have the expertise and knowledge on the subject
2. Offer you seminars for several dates and locations to choose from
