Electronic Drivers Database

Companies whose employees include drivers governed by DOT are required to maintain various documents in a central location.  These documents are known as Driver Qualification Files (DQ File).  The DQ File is the proper place to house the Application for Employment, Driver Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Report, Annual Review, and many other mandatory documents regulated by FMCSR and DOT.

Many of these documents (including licenses, MVRs, annual reviews, and physical exams), have expiration dates which require routine updates or renewals.  In the past, companies have spent a great deal of time manually sifting through the DQ Files on a monthly basis, trying to find all expiring documents, and making arrangements for drivers to renew necessary items.  Vogel Safety & Risk, Inc. will save your company time and trouble by maintaining an electronic DQ File on your drivers, and informing your management team via e-mail when someone is approaching an expiration date.

Not only can we save you time by taking  this task on for you, we also save lost time due to "Out-of-Service" orders from drivers holding documents that have expired ie: CDL and Medical Card.  By keeping you informed of these dates prior to them expiring, we save you unnecessary fines, and even red flags that result in unwanted DOT Compliance Reviews.
